Distinguished Alumni Award
Your Alumni Association takes great pride in recognizing our distinguished graduates. If you are interested in helping us identify the next Distinguished Alum, please complete and submit the nomination form. We accept nominations from anyone interested in supporting a candidate for this prestigious award. Our selection committee—composed of alumni, a current school staff member, and a previous school principal—will carefully consider all nominees for a period of three years after their nomination, and you may re-nominate a candidate as many times as you wish.
Shhh! We love suspense so we keep the identity of the Distinguished Alum a secret until commencement day. Prior to the commencement ceremony, we host a reception in the winner’s honor. The honoree’s friends and family are invited so they may extend their own congratulations. The President of the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation presents the honoree with a prestigious plaque that will become a lifelong treasure. As a further tribute, the Distinguished Alum addresses the graduating class at the commencement ceremony following the reception.
