Scissor Lift for Lakeshore Maintenance

Lakeshore’s Operations Department is rising to new heights thanks to the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation. The group applied for a Foundation Grant to purchase a scissor lift. Staff can now perform maintenance projects at heights a ladder can’t reach. This includes, among other things, hanging banners, lights, and fixing equipment in gyms across the district. Lakeshore Public Schools Director of Operations, Nick White, is grateful for what the new tool will mean in terms of protection for his team. “Thank you [LEF] for generously funding this scissor lift,” says White. “This machine will allow for safe and efficient aerial work for many years to come!”
